ARE YOUR WELLBEING TEAMS GETTING TOGETHER REGULARLY TO ADVANCE THE WELLBEING OF YOUR ORGANISATION?

In any clinical or pastoral setting, people in those roles are required to be supported by trained professionals.

There are well over 600,000 Mental Health First Aiders in the UK. Who is looking after them? Are they regularly getting together to discuss trends, safeguarding and organisational improvements? Are they equipped to adapt as the workplace does?

This support, which we call our Care & Development Sessions, adds expert ears to what your teams are experiencing, brings them together to always keep the wellbeing of colleagues on the agenda, helps to manage safeguarding and mitigate risk along with providing positive and practical steps forward to the challenges your teams are facing.

What stops your people thriving?

Recent studies have suggested that wellbeing initiatives should focus on what is called a ‘barrier to entry’. These barriers are physical and psychological issues that prevent people from being able to access the behaviours that will enable their wellbeing.

Through interactive, educational workshops, we can facilitate conversations that help discover what these issues are. This doesn’t just help teach teams how they keep and stay well but also helps us identify areas of improvement across primary, secondary and tertiary areas of psychological safety.

This helps to set or reinforce a strategy that uses data driven insights, clinical evidence-based research into what you can do to remove these barriers and enable your organisation to thrive.

What is you Colleague Support Experience like?

Often, workplaces will have EAPs and other routes to access support. These are great but may lead to someone feeling like they are being signposted from one place to another without accessing meaningful therapeutic input.

Our 1:1 service works seamlessly with our Care & Development sessions, meaning colleagues and their families have a direct route to support.

We advise a minimum of 1 supervision group per organisation that works with us. 1 supervision group can hold 6 members of staff. This helps to manage case loads and communicate effectively with those handling the provision within the organisation. We hold these sessions once a month. If you are an organisation that does not require these, or work fewer months of the year (schools), we can make adjustements as required.
