Provision
Enabling our support in your community
We provide your school or Academy Trust with a provision of a number of 45-minute sessions in which our Mentors work with the young people in your school that require support.
From family problems to bullying, anxiety to depression, more complex learning and behavioural difficulties to body dysmorphia, or exploring gender and sexuality, Arthur Ellis will help students safely tackle any problems they face, with no judgement
We teach both children and their parents/guardians to recognise pre-symptomatic changes, implement strategies to cope with symptoms and provide them with the tools they need to get through future hardships.
These sessions are carried out online*.
Every school we work with receives a private online referral code word where nominated members of staff can securely make referrals. This ensures that there is no cross-over between the data provided from your school and that of another.
In the occurrence of exceptional individual needs/circumstances, face-to-face appointments are available at the discretion of our senior team only.
Care and Development Sessions
Supporting the Supporter
Ensuring pastoral and safeguarding teams are supervised is an Ofsted requirement.
At Arthur Ellis, we recognise the importance of looking after the individuals who are responsible for the well-being of others, especially young people. It can be a daunting, and difficult role to navigate so having the proper support from external trusted ambassadors can give your team the confidence they need to effectively handle and manage well-being cases within your education centre.
At The Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation, we have colleagues trained in Clinical Supervision who can support your teams CPD whilst improving the safeguarding and continuity of care for students.
With specific focus on case management, sharing knowledge and best practice, our supervisors can provide your staff with support in decision making and confidence in case handling, whilst implementing another level of security.
We have experienced practitioners who are accredited with the Association of Psychological Therapies in Providing Good Clinical Supervision with the capacity to support schools and colleges across the city.
Supervision Groups are automatically built into our Provisions so you can rest assured you’re covered! However, if we feel like someone in the team could benefit from a more individual approach, we can facilitate 1:1 supervision too!

No. of supervision groups*
We advise a minimum of 1 supervision group per organisation that works with us. 1 supervision group can hold 6 members of staff. This helps to manage case loads and communicate effectively with those handling the provision within the organisation. We hold these sessions once a month. If you are an organisation that does not require these, or work fewer months of the year (schools), we can make adjustements as required.
