Supervision

Ensuring Every Professional
Feels Supported

We have a number of qualified staff to provide Clinical Supervision - this is a statutory requirement for most organisations we work with.

At Arthur Ellis, we recognise the importance of looking after the

individuals who are responsible for the well-being of others. It can be a

daunting, and difficult role to navigate so having the proper support from

external trusted well-being ambassadors can give your team the

confidence they need to effectively handle and manage their caseload.

Supervision is in place to ensure those working in the field are appropriately supported in their roles, comfortable with any safeguarding they are dealing with as well as safeguarding themselves, and is also an opportunity to share best practice.

All of our Supervisors are qualified in Providing Good Clinical Supervision by the Association of Psychological Therapies.

DSL Trained Staff

We operate stringent Safer Recruitment procedures when recruiting staff. Our Senior Leaders have also undergone formal Safer Recruitment Training to ensure that this is understood and can be carried out effectively.

We have a diverse team of people who represent the communities we serve. This not only ensures that our clients have a comfortability with at least one of our team members’, but also that our team can grow and learn from each other, ensuring an enrichment of workplace culture and individual skill.

Although not all staff are Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), to enhance their safeguarding knowledge, all staff complete DSL training to have an in-depth awareness and understanding of their role in safeguarding and looking after the welfare of our clients.
